We provide friendly, practical support to help you step confidently into employment.
We are very aware that being unemployed or losing your job can be hard to deal with and in today’s economic climate finding a job can be really tough. We want to help you!
We want to help you to realise the skills and the potential that you have and help you to be able to communicate that effectively to employers.
Thursdays, 10.00am – 12.30pm at Willowfield. So come along or pass this information on to anyone who you may know who is looking for work.
What is Job Club?
Willowfield CAP Job club is here to provide practical support to helping you find your way back to employment though:
- Information and advice
- Assistance with CVs, filling out application forms, interview preparation, work experience/volunteering opportunities or preparing to return to education
- An 8 week certified course to help build your confidence, consolidate your skills and actively help you to find employment
- Fellowship and community with others who are looking for jobs, support, a listening ear and just having a coffee and a chat
Who can come to Job Club?
Anyone is very welcome to come along to our Job Club and find out a bit more about what we do and how we can help you. Whether you have been unemployed for many years, just lost your job, thinking about returning to work after having a family or have just left school, college or University and can’t find work. Everyone is welcome. To take part in our 8 week course, we ask you to have a short informal chat with our Job Club manager to make sure the course is right for you.
When and where is Job Club?
Job Club runs every Thursday from 10am to 12.30pm, in the Micah Centre attached to Willowfield Church.
Can I help with Job Club?
Yes! We are always looking for volunteers to assist us in running the Job Club, employers or organisations who would be willing to provide work experience or volunteering opportunities and people to pray for the work of our Job Club. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.
