10 Day Mission

Our special 10 days of focussed mission in our community is this October.

From 16 – 25 October 2015 we would like to invite you to 10 days of special community events which we have organised with you in mind.

Friday 16 October


Over 80s Lunch 
● 12.30pm ● Willowfield Church
A special lunch for those aged over 80 from our church and community.


Monday 19 October


Healing Café 
● 7.30pm ● Willowfield Church
Opportunity to come and receive prayer for healing.


Tuesday 20 October 


Ladies Health Morning 
● 10.30am – 1pm ● Willowfield Church


A great event to provide you with all types of women’s health information.  Pamper zone, a light lunch and prize draw will also be provided.

Murder Mystery Evening 
● 7.30pm ● Willowfield Church
“Murder is in the air, tensions are rife, the unexpected lurks around the corner.”
Can you solve our Mystery?


Wednesday 21 October


Last Night at the Halls ● 7.30pm ● Willowfield Church Hall
A night for the over 18s as we re–live the good times in our parish halls


Thursday 22 October


Seniors’ Lunch 
● 12.30pm ● Willowfield Church Hall
An event for the older people of our community living in sheltered accommodation.

Kids Klub XXL ● 
7pm ● Willowfield Church
Kidz Klub is going EXTRA EXTRA LARGE for the night with special guests Hip Hop act, ‘Rebirth Network’ 

Wine + Cheese Evening
 ● 7.30pm ● The Mount
An evening when you can meet new people, sample some wine, cheese, or soft drinks – and meet someone who changes lives today just as he did 2000 years ago.


Friday 23 October


Men’s Health Morning 
● 10am – 12noon ● Willowfield Church
Massages, Hair Cuts, Turkish Shaves, Allergy Tests, Health Checks and more! Free Healthy Lunch at 12.30pm. 

Stars In Their Eyes 
● 7.30pm ● Willowfield Church
Featuring local people as their favourite stars. Come along and enjoy food, good craic and laughs and vote for your favourite act. £1 per vote and all money raised will go to the Cancer Unit in Belfast City Hospital.


Saturday 24 October 


Men Up Cave Hill ● 9am ● Meeting at Willowfield Church
Meet for Bacon Butties at 9am, walk up Cavehill and then back to watch the Rugby World Cup semi–final with a curry.

EPIC – Youth Celebration
 ● 7.30pm ● Willowfield Church

Exciting youth event featuring REBIRTH NETWORK (hip hop dance company from London)


Sunday 25 October

Special Services All Day
 with Anthony Delaney and team from Ivy Church, Manchester at 10am, 11.30am, 5.30pm, 7pm.

About Anthony Delaney
Anthony was a police officer in the centre of Manchester for ten years before going into church leadership in various places around the nation. Anthony is an ordained minister in the Church of England and before coming to Ivy Manchester he led a progressive Anglican church. Ivy is a great network of churches meeting in various places including a cinema, a pub, a warehouse and even a church building. 

Anthony also leads NewThing EUROPE to recruit, encourage and train for church planters of 500 new reproducing churches across Europe in the next 5 years, as part of a vision to plant 10,000 new churches across the globe.

He is married to Zoe, and together they have three kids and three grand kids.
