Shoe–Box Appeal
Every year we send shoeboxes through Operation Christmas Child – to send gifts to children who won’t get any other gift this Christmas.
All you need is an empty shoebox, cover it with Christmas paper, then fill it with pens, pencils, toothpaste and toothbrush, soap, hairbrush, sweets, toys etc – and don’t forget £3.00 donation towards the cost of shipping your box overseas.
Remember, no clothes except for a scarf, hat and gloves, and no liquids that could spill and spoil everything else!

Thank you for the way you have been so generous in sending shoeboxes over the years, they mean so much to the children who receive them!
Many of the children receiving shoeboxes will have been victims of war and conflict, so we think it is very appropriate that we ask you to bring your box to the family services on Remembrance Sunday, 8 November.
