We desire that as a church we are FAITHFUL and FRUITFUL disciples of Jesus. In 2018 there will be opportunities to gather in community, to go deeper into the scriptures and to take time out to study specific issues and life stages. Let’s get praying and come expectant as we grow in faith.
Word to Action – We Value Courage
In a society that seems to increasingly be opposed to Christian values – how can you live for Jesus? When the people you study, work and interact with think that your values are outdated – how can you respond? When your family question why you believe – how can you continue to trust Jesus? Here at Willowfield we value courage. It is something that you need in bucket loads and we want to inspire you to have more of it. We believe that the bible contains profound truths that help to live every day. That is why we are going to dig deeper and allow the pages of scripture to breath new life into us. We are setting aside 5 weeks to look at how God often raised up individuals to speak into their culture. Using the book of Judges we will see how he gave them the words they needed and the actions to do, they just needed to step forward with courage. Yes there was nerves and a little bit of apprehension but God gave them the courage to it. It starts on Wednesday 10 January and runs to 7 February at 7.30pm in the Church, each evening will take the form of worship, teaching and then an opportunity to discuss what you have heard. So why don’t you join us for these five weeks as we value courage.
