I started working for Willowfield Parish on 1st November 2002 although I have been a member of the church all my life.

I was asked to get involved with men, particularly men from within our community. From this I helped in the formation, along with The Bridge, of the W Club, I am an active committee member of the Wise Men of the East Network (this network has groups from all over East Belfast), I started a Support Group for people with drug and alcohol addictions, which has led on to the possibility of a city-wide support group following the principles of Celebrate Recovery (a ministry started by Saddleback Church in America) which helps those with addictions to find Jesus as the answer to their problems and for those same people to lead sessions of Celebrate Recovery.

I started a Men's House Group which meets every Thursday for Bible study and prayer. We have Men's Breakfasts, whenever we get a speaker from outside the Parish to come along, held every other months. We have a Men's Keep Fit every Wednesday, a Prospects Group every 2nd Tuesday of the month which is a group for adults with a learning disability.  Added to that are my pastoral visits, pub outreach, Besom and whatever else needs done in the life of the Parish.

I am currently doing a Diocesan Readers Course which finishes at the end of November 2009, and my commissioning service is in Dromore Cathedral on 6th December 2009.

I am married to Linda and we have two children, Andrew, who was 23 in December and Ruth who will be 21 in April 2010.
