A Fresh Look at our Sunday Services

At Willowfield there are a variety of services each Sunday so that you and members of your circle of family and friends can worship God, come to know Him better and experience more of His purpose for your life.

:: At 9.00am each Sunday morning there is a traditional service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer which dates back to 1662. This is a smaller more intimate service and, like all our services, is open to everyone.

:: At 10.00am we have a very relaxed service where you mostly get to listen to our music group, sing some familiar hymns and songs and listen to a talk that will help you find answers to come of life's most important questions. A crèche is provided for pre-school children and kidz church for children of primary school age. This is a new service and a great place for newcomers especially if you want to avoid larger numbers of people.

:: At 11.30am we have an all age service. This is our largest service of the day. It includes old hymns ad modern worship songs. It is very child friendly but people of all ages young and old especially feel at home here. There is some solid Bible teaching for those wanting to go deeper. On the first Sunday of the month this service takes the form of Holy Communion. On the second Sunday of the month it is a Family Service which means that the talk is directed towards the children. On all the other weeks except the 2 nd Sunday of each month there is a crèche for pre-school children, kidz church for primary school children and ‘refresh' a special programme for teenagers.

:: At 5.00pm in the Lagan Village Hall Ballarat Street , off the Ravenhill Road , we have an informal meal with some worship, prayer and a simple Bible story. This service is called ‘Just 55' and never lasts more than 55 minutes. All the folks of the lower Ravenhill area are especially invited to this time.

:: At 5.30pm we have a service of Evening Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer, sing some of the older hymns and have a sermon of 20-30 minutes when Bible truths are clearly explained.

:: At 7.00pm we have a service of contemporary modern praise where the singing is lead by a band. God's word is again clearly taught. This service is both modern in style and deeply challenging in terms of calling us forward to mature Christian discipleship.
