I started working for Willowfield Parish on 1st November 2002 although I have been a member of the church all my life.

I was asked to get involved with men, particularly men from within our community. From this I helped in the formation, along with The Bridge, of the W Club, a group for men 50+, I am an active committee member of the Wise Men of the East Network (this network has groups from all over East Belfast), I started a Support Group for people with drug and alcohol addictions, which has led on to the possibility of a city-wide support group following the principles of Celebrate Recovery (a ministry started by Saddleback Church in America) which helps those with addictions to find Jesus as the answer to their problems and for those same people to lead sessions of Celebrate Recovery.

I started a Men's House Group which meets every Thursday for Bible study and prayer. Men's Prayer Breakfast's are held every month and a Men's Breakfast, whenever we get a speaker from outside the Parish to come along, is held every few months. Added to that are my pastoral visits, pub outreach, Besom and whatever else needs done.

I am married to Linda and we have two children, Andrew, who will be 20 this December and Ruth who is 17.
